The County of Mono (County) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from consultants and firms to provide its Department of Public Works on-call, as-needed construction engineering services. SOQs received from interested consultants and firms will be evaluated for the professional qualifications, experience, and competence deemed necessary for the satisfactory completion of proposed services or work. County may award up to two (2) contracts to consultants or firms, if qualified, to provide as-needed, on-call construction engineering services described in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) available for download. Please login to download the RFQ As-Need Construction Engineering Services pdf file to review requested scope of services, submittal requirements, evaluation criteria, schedule, sample agreement, and other requirements.
Any contract awarded pursuant to this RFQ may be funded with federal or state funds, and as such, are subject to specific procurement procedures and contract requirements provided in federal and California law. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal calculated by the County for this RFQ and any subsequent contract awarded is zero (0) percent. However, the County supports the DBE program and encourages using disadvantaged consultants and firms when possible. All qualified consultants and firms interested in providing the services and work described in the RFQ are invited to submit a SOQ.
To be considered, SOQs must be submitted by May 31, 2023 no later than 3:00 PM (Submission Deadline) to Mono County Department of Public Works. SOQs may be submitted electronically (preferred) or by mail to the locations stated in the RFQ.
